Dr. Mēgan Pickens, LPC-S, is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor with a Doctor of Philosophy in Marriage and Family Therapy from Texas Wesleyan University. She specializes in helping High Achieving Black Women (HABW™) and High Achieving Black Men (HABM™) to identify their needs and request them without delay or hesitation through using skills learned during counseling sessions. Dr. Megan has been featured in many publications, including Voyage Dallas – where she was interviewed about her personal story after spending 10 years living a tumultuous relationship – and much more than this!
Dr. Mēgan Pickens is an experienced licensed professional counselor (LPC-S) in Texas. She is the President of the TACES (Texas Association of Counselor Education and Supervision) and a serial entrepreneur, author, speaker, and teacher. Her experience as a thought leader in supervision has equipped her to provide training for other counselors who are supervisors, along with providing consultation when needed.
Dr. Mēgan describes herself as 50 & Fly. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her family, friends, and sisters from Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
